Move from College to Career
For the majority of seniors, the time that leads to college graduation and then the beginning of a job is very stressful and chaotic. You are attempting to finish your career at college without a senioritis meltdown when dealing with the requirement of interviewing, job-hunting, and facing the finish of schooling.
Some students are adept at planning the college schedules thus they have just afternoon classes or classes on particular days, and it is these students undergoing a hard time while facing the necessity to go to work daily. And it is not like the 7 or 8 a.m. class you typically skipped as you push the snooze button numerous times on the alarm clock; get up late several times and you will turn out to be unemployed.
Then vacation time and free time go. In college or university, you get used to long weekends — on top of long summer and winter breaks. Most universities and colleges have mid-semester breaks as well. Unluckily, employers are not generous with time off.
The next factor is time management. Maybe you may have considered it was tough controlling different group projects, tests, plus other activities when in college, but this will be more of a fight to control your time when you are working — so your future with the employer depends upon how effectively you can organize your time. There is a great difference in time organizing when you should work 40+ hours and then try to arrange your personal life.
